Am 23. und 24. November machten sich unsere U08- bis U14-Teams auf den Weg nach Lugano für ein Wochenende voller Rugby, Spaß und Action.

Der Samstag startete mit einem schneebedeckten Platz, der sich im Laufe des Tages in ein echtes Schlammfeld verwandelte. Unsere U08- bis U12-Spieler*innen rutschten, kämpften und lachten sich durch ihre Spiele – der Schlamm war einfach nicht zu stoppen! Nach so viel Rugby war eine Pause dringend nötig, und im Splash and Spa in Tamaro konnten alle den Matsch abwaschen und sich richtig austoben. Dort stieß auch die U14 dazu, die den Tag gemütlich im Swiss Miniature verbracht hatte.

Nach einer kurzen Nacht im tollen Hostel Montarina ging es am Sonntag weiter. Die Jüngeren besuchten das Swiss Miniature, während die U14 auf dem Platz alles gaben – mit Erfolg! Sie gewannen all ihre Spiele und zeigten, was in ihnen steckt. Die Sonne half dabei, den Platz ein bisschen trockener zu machen, aber die Energie unserer Teams hätte ohnehin alles wettgemacht.

Am Ende hieß es: schnell duschen und ab zum Zug – mit vielen tollen Erinnerungen im Gepäck.

Ein riesiges Dankeschön an alle Coaches und Betreuer*innen, die dieses Abenteuer begleitet haben. Ein besonderer Dank geht an Samuele Tosatti für die tolle Organisation. Dieses Wochenende war ein echtes Highlight! ??

On November 23rd and 24th, our U08 to U14 teams traveled to Lugano for a weekend full of rugby, fun, and action.

Saturday started with a snowy pitch that gradually turned into a muddy field as the day went on. Our U08 to U12 players slipped, slid, and laughed their way through their games – the mud was unstoppable! After so much rugby, a break was well-deserved. Everyone headed to the Splash and Spa in Tamaro to wash off the mud and enjoy some fun together. The U14 team joined them there after spending a relaxing day at Swiss Miniature.

After a short night at the beautiful Hostel Montarina, Sunday brought more adventures. While the younger teams explored Swiss Miniature, the U14 hit the rugby field and gave it their all – with amazing results! They won all their games, showing just how much they’ve got. Luckily, the sun came out and helped dry the pitch a little, but the team spirit alone could have carried the day!

In the end, it was a quick shower and a race to catch the train home, with plenty of great memories to take back.
